The Park loked great and all of the preperations for the Food and Wine festival had begun. Tents were
Paradise pier was beautiful and the area seems almost finished. The signs and sun on California Screaming are beautiful. With a bit of the Mickey face still blocked by construction it wasn't in its full glory but still looks great. I can't wait for that skyline to be finished. Even after with the water it will be even better looking and an amazing place.
The construction around the park is dying down with the opening of the pacific wharf bridge. This definetly makes sense because of the Food and Wine festival coming to town. Also a definetly cool add is the new advertisement for world of color. It is a great picture of the pocohontas seen and if anyone doubted a "Paint with All the Colors of the Wind" sequence then they weren't looking at the name closely.
Finally the last thing I am wondering, as a business student is what are they going to be doing with all the merchandise showing different Paradise Pier images. So much concept art and Blue Sky drawings have appeared that the final product is somewhat different from what we have seen. These images have made there way into promotional material and on onto merchandise.
I have no doubt many of these will be sold and none of them will go without a home. It was just interesting to me as a Business Major what would a compan do with this kind of inventory. I doubt we will see discounts but one can be hopeful.
That is a wrap on this trip report. Its a great time to visit the parks and summer crowds are right around the corner. Keep your eyes out for the next blog post, definetly by the end of the week.
